On the heels of our past See-Suite hosts, Mike Simonds of Unum US and Steve Smith of L.L.Bean, Brick & Beam invites you to join us for an opportunity to hear from two more dynamic leaders – Casey Gilbert, Executive Director of Portland Downtown, and Quincy Hentzel, Chief Executive Officer of Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Too excited? Can’t wait?

Learn more about Casey:

Casey Gilbert is the Executive Director of Portland Downtown, a 501c4 nonprofit business improvement district.

In addition to her role with Portland Downtown, she is a student in the PhD in Public Policy program at USM and a board member of the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her arrival in Maine, she spent 7 years in Florida where she assisted her family with a real estate project and was the Executive Director of Melbourne Main Street. Fun fact: Casey completed her master’s degree in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University in Adelaide, Australia.

Learn more about Quincy:

Since being named as CEO in July 2017, Quincy Hentzel has committed to making the Chamber more representative of its communities by adding new initiatives, events, and programming. Two of those new events – Kegs & Issues, and Women of the Chamber, have quickly become two of the Chamber’s most popular series.

Prior to accepting the role of permanent CEO, Hentzel worked at Industrium, a fully integrated public relations/advertising agency, where she focused on public relations/public affairs work for a variety of clients across the country. Prior to Hentzel’s time at Industrium, she spent 11 years working as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Maine Credit Union League, where she worked in Augusta and Washington, D.C. advocating on behalf of Maine’s credit union industry. Hentzel has also dedicated a lot of her time to causes she is passionate about – such as serving on the boards of directors of the Center for Grieving Children, Rippleffect and Community Financial Literacy.

See-Suite is all about Brick & Beam members having the opportunity to meet with CEOs, successful entrepreneurs, a diverse portfolio of leaders in finance, service, master brewers and fashion blog worthy local designers, all in an intimate, small group cohort-style discussion over sips and snacks.

Don’t miss out! RSVP by Monday, June 11 as these members-only events will be first come, first serve with limited space at the Chamber (443 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101).
