Funding Opportunity: Brick & Beam Society, FY23 Community Investments

Brick & Beam Society, a United Way of Southern Maine (UWSM) giving circle, is pleased to announce that it is now accepting funding applications for its FY23 Community Investments.  

Brick & Beam Society takes a broad view of the community, bringing emerging and established leaders together and building momentum for action. The group also leverages United Way of Southern Maine’s rich history, resources, knowledge, and relationships to get results. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:
Brick & Beam Society supports high-impact, sustainable, and replicable projects and innovative, holistic, collaborative approaches, advancing racial equity. All proposals must align with Thrive2027 priorities.  

 Brick & Beam Society seeks proposals that:  

  • target early childhood learning and/or STEAM programming  
  • and support high need populations birth through 8th grade.  

 Proposed programs should be designed to be adaptive to changing conditions, given continued uncertainty around the impact of the pandemic.

GRANT DETAILS: 
Amount: Between $25,000 and $50,000
Funding Period: One year, starting on award of grant funding, unless otherwise noted. 
Deadline for Submission: Friday, August 5, 2022
