On Wednesday, October 23, over 75 community members joined hands and hearts for the 4th annual Brick & Beam Community Night at O’Maine Studios.

 

A huge thank you to our funded community partners LearningWorks + Side x Side and Intercultural Community Center for sharing the ways in which Brick & Beam funding has had an impact on kids in our community. Congratulations Palaver Strings and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, our 2019 Community Night grant recipients.The evening was a testament to how we are supporting educational programs that ensure all kids have a strong start.

 

Additionally, our Brick & Beam Society Steering Committee announced our fundraising goal to collectively raise $133,000 for grant funding in 2020. Since 2016, Brick & Beam Society has invested over $330,000 in early literacy and STEAM programs that are giving community’s children the gift of a lifetime, and the power to create their own destiny. YOU make that possible!

 

Thank you to O’Maine Studios, Mason’s Brewing Co., Quiero Cafe and our incredible Brick & Beam Society Membership & Programming Committee for making the evening such a special and memorable occasion. We are already counting down the days until next year!
