Brick & Beam Society is a community of established and emerging professionals committed to increasing STEM and educational enrichment opportunities for children in Greater Portland. Our members represent companies from various industries and we have more than 150 donors supporting our work.
We leverage United Way of Greater Portland’s resources, knowledge, and relationships to get results.
OUR PURPOSE: To utilize education as a vehicle for social change, by financially supporting educational opportunities for high need populations in the area of childhood education up through 8th grade. We provide funding for projects that are aligned with Thrive2027’s Community-Wide Goals, and are high-impact, sustainable and replicable and approaches that are innovative, holistic and collaborative.
